Hooray! Change is good. We decided to switch gears during the last week of Rachel’s apprenticeship to teach her something different. We decided to take a break from plasterwork to teach Rachel how to install greenhouse paneling. The basics of installing panels are easy to grasp. It requires overlapping connection points between panels and sealing fastening nails with silicone or any other waterproof sealant.

We also decided that its time to dry-pack the greenhouse floor. We collected flat rocks from the mountains and hills around us to use as tiles, leveled the floor with a string level, placed a plastic sheet on the sub-floor, which will serve as a vapor and moisture barrier.
